Dear friends, family, and blog family,
Some of you may know that I am in the process of putting on a conference called Choose Joy on surviving infertility and adoption. After struggling through seven painful years of infertility, Nathan and I have such a heart for couples experiencing this road. We also have become huge advocates for adoption since experiencing this amazing blessing in our family.
God has really blessed this conference so much already. We have speakers and guests coming from all over the country to be a part of the community that we building. As part of our conference, we would like to raffle off a very special prize to one of the attendees: cash to use towards growing their family. When Nathan and I needed to raise money for Penelope's adoption, our amazing friends, family, and blog readers helped us raise over $6000 in one week. It so richly blessed us, and helped to confirm that adoption was definitely part of God's plan for our family. We would like to pass the same blessing on to another family.
Because we really wanted to keep the ticket price low for the event, we will not have much (if any) left over for the raffle. That's where you come in. Would you be willing to make a donation to help make another family's dreams come true??? Any amount would help!
To learn more about the event, please visit the Choose Joy website.
To make a donation now, please click here, or click on the “Donate” button on our website.
The event is Saturday, February 9th, so please make your donations before that day.
If you know someone that could benefit from attending the event, please pass along the website. If you know someone that might want to make a donation, please encourage them to visit this posting.
Thank you so much for your support!
I'm not sure how I recently found your blog, but I spent a bit of time this weekend reading through your adoption stories. I have close family members that are currently struggling through the same thing you were for so long, so reading your blog and your story was very encouraging!
